Dan Langlois is a partner in KPMG’s Audit Quality and Professional Practice Group (National Office) where he currently serves as the firm’s Practice Advisory leader of the Business Combinations and Pensions topic teams. He is also co-chair of the AICPA Business Combinations Task Force. Previously, he was the leader of KPMG’s Audit practice in Michigan and also served as KPMG’s National Audit Sector Leader for Industrial Manufacturing. He is a frequent panelist at KPMG and industry seminars on topics ranging from regulatory compliance to various technical accounting matters.
Dan is an active member of KPMG’s Revenue Recognition Network, specializing in interpretation and application of the new Revenue Standard by entities in the manufacturing industry and in other sectors. His career with KPMG, which has spanned nearly three decades, also includes serving as lead audit engagement partner for both public and privately held domestic and multinational entitles. Dan is a licensed CPA and holds a Master of Accounting degree from the University of Waterloo in Canada.
