Keith Peterka is partner at Anchin, Block & Anchin LLP and has over 25 years of experience working with both SEC registrants and privately held companies on complex accounting and auditing issues. Prior to Anchin, Keith was an audit partner at Citrin Cooperman where he focused on technology and software clients, as well as retail, distribution and manufacturing clients. Keith was a member of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) Inspections Division in New York. He also has extensive international experience servicing various publicly traded companies on a variety of technical matters. Keith was part of a Big Four Firm’s Capital Market group both in Europe and Asia. Keith served as partner-in-charge of the Professional Standards Group at a top 30 CPA firm based in New York, prior to joining Citrin Cooperman. Keith also worked as a partner in the national office of a top CPA firm. Keith has lived in both Europe and Asia and has led foreign registrants through their SEC compliance needs, as well as various technical matters. While in Asia, Keith consulted with some of the region’s largest technology companies, assisting them with complex U.S. GAAP issues as well as Sarbanes Oxley. Prior to Keith’s involvement with in the capital markets space, Keith served as a manager on the engagement of one of the largest technology companies (Fortune 50), where he was responsible for global audit coordination and ensuring the audit approach was consistently delivered. Keith is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Keith was an original member of the IASB’s SMEs Implementation Issues Group and served a three-year term with the AICPA’s Technical Issues Committee. Keith is currently a member of the AICPA’s NAAATS planning committee. He received a B.S. in Accounting from Robert Morris University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York, Pennsylvania and Texas.
