Kristine E. Latchaw, CPA, joined Maner Costerisan in 2011 as the Director of Administration, overseeing the day-to-day internal operations as well as recruiting and staffing team members. Specifically, she manages and directs the firm’s administrative, facilities, financial and personnel functions. An integral part of the Maner Costerisan team, Kris also assists with managing internal information systems and marketing initiatives. A graduate of the University of Michigan, Kris has over 20 years of professional experience in the field. Prior to joining Maner Costerisan, she spent two years as an accounting manager for a consulting firm and eleven years as a senior manager with a national accounting firm. Well respected by her clients and her peers, Kris has a passion for her work and believes strongly in doing the right thing for the right reason for all parties involved. Kris is actively involved in the CPA Firm Management Association and currently serving as the President of the Michigan Chapter and on the National Board as the Director of Information and Communication. Through this involvement, Kris collaborates and networks with national leaders of the CPA profession in order to identify areas of similarity, sharing best practices, supporting and encouraging each other to learn and grow in their development. In addition, she has access to expert thinking, education, guidance and resources in CPA firm strategic planning, operations, finance, technology and human resources that she brings back as a leader at Maner Costerisan. Working with numbers and solving problems has always come easily to Kris, which inspired her to go into the accounting field. She attributes her success to being fully engaged in all aspects of her work and having a support system to help her reach her goals. Residing in Grand Ledge, Michigan with her husband and three children, Kris enjoys leading an active life. When away from the office, her favorite pastimes include spending time with her family and friends, reading and scrapbooking.
