DOWNTOWN LAS VEGAS WALKING FOOD TOURTuesday, June 13, 2017
$130 Per Person
Our historic, cultural, walking tours are facilitated by gourmet docents (tour guides) who have a love and passion for Las Vegas eateries. Our goal is to provide both a fun and fulfilling experience as we walk (and eat) our way through Las Vegas’ most scenic and historic neighborhoods. Expect to be with us about three hours as you learn about the origins of Vegas, to what we see today. Discover the Vegas connection to the Mob, the Mormon’s, and the institution of marriage. Throughout the tour, you’ll sample unique local favorites from neighborhood restaurants, cafes, and specialty food stores. All food tastings are included in the ticket price and enough for an average lunch or light dinner.
This is more than a food tour because we will not just fill your bellies but we’ll also give you plenty of food for thought. Between tastings, you experience what Vegas life is like as you stroll through this non-touristy, authentic downtown neighborhood. Our knowledgeable and entertaining guides will provide you with insightful stories that reveal the culture and often untold history. Not only will you gain a new appreciation of the food in Vegas, but also its rich culture, and history you otherwise would have missed. Sample locations for tastings are Itsy Bitsy Ramen & Whisky, Pizza Rock, Chow Chicken & Chinese, Perch, JinJu, The Smashed Pig Gastro Pub & Kettle Corn.
